   Outcomes

   • New licensing portal eliminated manual workarounds the customer success team had been using to issue licenses to corporate customers, saving two people around five hours a week.
   • Delivered a modern rebrand across all customer-facing surfaces simultaneously — product, docs, and marketing site — under high tension and tight coordination.
   • Analytics dashboards used by customer success, sales, and product to make prioritisation calls.

   Projects

   • Built an end-to-end analytics pipeline from scratch — pulled custom metrics from Plausible and the licensing portal into a data lake (AWS Glue, Athena), then built Metabase dashboards tracking activation and drop-off.
   • Presented a 12-month roadmap at Quarterly Business Reviews with key enterprise accounts, using customer responses to validate or challenge roadmap assumptions.
   • Coordinated a multi-stream launch in November 2025: new brand across the main website, product, and documentation site, plus a new account and licensing portal — working across an external agency, the COO, marketing, the core dev team, and the founding team simultaneously. Coached a junior engineer through delivering the product rebrand end to end, including the QA review cycle. Shipped consecutively with minimal issues.
   • Rebuilt the backlog from vague, unprioritised tickets into clear, scoped, prioritised work — engineers went from picking tasks without context to having what they needed to build confidently.

   Responsibilities

   • Owned the product function in a small engineering team, running multiple products simultaneously and managing one direct report.
   • Gathered feedback via QBRs, separated one-off configuration requests from genuine product signals, and fed learnings back into prioritisation.
   • Partnered with GTM and Product Marketing on positioning, onboarding content, and feature enablement materials.
   • Used AI tools across the full product cycle — synthesising customer feedback, drafting specs and roadmap narratives, generating release notes, and prototyping ideas before committing engineering time.

2. 2020–2024

   Led product and technology across a four-year tenure, building two production platforms from scratch: a custom LMS serving hundreds of students, and a WISE grant-funded internship marketplace that placed over 200 women and gender diverse people into paid roles with a 75% conversion to full-time employment.

   Outcomes

   • Over 200 women and gender diverse people placed into paid internship roles; 75% or more went on to receive full-time offers.
   • 400 applications received within the first weeks of the talent platform's public launch.
   • LMS built and live in one month, expanding to self-directed learning and ecommerce over subsequent years.
   • Key hiring partners included IAG (10 concurrent placements), Victorian Government cyber security, and TikTok.

   Projects

   • Built and launched a custom LMS in one month (AWS infrastructure, auth, payments, course catalogue, and React front end), going live in September with 60 students across six cohorts, capturing momentum from COVID-era demand for online learning.
   • Expanded the LMS through a federal grant in 2022 and 2023, developing three new courses (JavaScript, Node.js, React) alongside an existing Python track and building out self-directed learning pathways and self-service ecommerce.
   • Designed a scholarship application process to trial the new courses with 30 women and gender diverse people, built to be low-friction for applicants while rigorous enough to assess across minority intersections including first-generation migrants, people with disability, carers, and people in financial hardship.
   • Taught a 10-week Python cohort to Victorian State Government staff, using direct student contact to identify friction in the assignment module and build a structured marking rubric.
   • Led the WISE grant-funded internship platform end-to-end, from deep discovery with the program coordinator through functional spec, design, and build, to phased rollout: existing candidates first, then recruitment partners, then public launch.
   • Built a self-service lead capture and email onboarding sequence for hiring partners; represented CLG at SXSW Sydney's B Corp activation, generating hundreds of high-intent leads in two days.
   • Appointed Acting CTO in 2024 during a company restructure, working alongside the CEO to navigate significant market headwinds. Ran multiple strategic experiments: developed new professional development cohort offerings and stood up a formal sales pipeline.
   • Produced and MC'd the Virtual Engineers Summit, a fully branded virtual conference built in Gather Town with around 200 attendees. Worked with sponsors including TikTok, GitHub, Google, Macquarie Bank, Rokt, and Pepperstone, with speakers and workshops from TikTok and GitHub and a virtual careers fair where companies hosted interactive brand installations.

   Responsibilities

   • Led discovery across both user groups of the internship platform, interviewing the program coordinator, intern candidates, and hiring partners to develop user personas, user stories, and a full functional spec.
   • Introduced agile processes to the founding team: standups, backlog, sprints, and retros.
   • Coordinated design, curriculum, student experience, and engineering across both platforms.
   • Tracked user behaviour across both platforms using Google Analytics to identify friction and prioritise improvements.
